新鲜就是硬道理
最近我们一个朋友的父亲从国内来美探亲旅游,老先生酷爱钓鱼,孝顺的儿子就给父亲办了钓鱼许可证并买了鱼竿鱼具,老先生经常上午没事时就到离家不远的一个湖里垂钓。 话说我们Iowa 这个美国的中西部小城,老美超市里只有剥了皮的没有刺的鱼柳,后来在walmart 偶尔有有头有尾的罗非鱼,但那也是冷冻的。所以要吃活鱼只有自己钓了,要说钓鱼那可是个技术活,想当年我们也兴致勃勃办了鱼证,买了长鱼竿短鱼竿和各类用品,本地的水坝,小湖甚至在南达科达州的旅游胜地都留下了我们渴望着吃活鱼的渔人的身影,然而,真正抓到的只有一次,那还是楼大学生(那时是楼初中生)的运气好,一条约重7-8磅的 northenpick 上了钩。楼同学嘛,技术差运气差还没耐心,每次都带3张糖饼,吃完也没一条鱼上钩,最后家里烙糖饼的面粉终于供应不上,逐断了钓鱼的念头。幸好我们以前有几家朋友都善钓鱼,我们也还不时能吃上几回活鱼,这几年这几家朋友陆续毕业,离开我们玉米地到外地工作去了,我们也没得活鱼吃了。 再回到老先生钓鱼吧,老先生在国内时就是钓鱼高手,根据丰富的垂钓经验,对美国的鱼竿进行了改进,加上技术过硬,如果不是天气太不适合钓鱼外,每次都有好的收获。我们也荣幸地沾了老先生的光,得到了好几条活蹦乱跳大鲤鱼,或清蒸,或红烧,或炖鱼头汤,无论怎样做,就是比冷冻的美味太多了,新鲜就是硬道理啊。尤其是楼大学生,在学校住校外公寓,极少自己做鱼吃,回来后吃到活鱼大喊好吃,还是那句话,新鲜就是硬道理! 老先生就要结束探亲回国了,在此谢谢老先生钓的鱼并送鱼给我们。 这是清理干净的鱼,好几年没有杀活鱼了,技术生疏了不少。 这是一条最大的,估计有5-6磅,鱼头用来炖了鱼头汤。放平底锅两面煎黄,放姜,料酒在水里慢炖40分钟,汤成乳白色,加盐少许。出锅前撒葱花白胡椒粉即可。
